Devotion - small artwork serie - no. 2

Inspiration

In a moment of peace and devotion, there is always a small glimpse of vulnerability visible. And To be vulnerable, strength is one of the key elements. This tension is something that lights up my creativity.

This series celebrates the sensuality of women. Freedom can be found in letting go of control, and real devotion follows. And Just experience the journey.❤️ The entire collection will consist of large and small works of art.

Technique 
In this series, the works are made on hardwood where the wood has been treated in different types and layers of lacquer. Some parts have been sanded off for a faded effect. 

The wood and the queen are connected to each other. The wood can be seen in several places as a kind of skin. Some places have been treated with lacquer or oil paint. in other parts, it has been left pure and untouched.  The figure is painted with oil paint and metal leaf copper.
